So, What have you seen from this Bama team that makes you feel so confident they can't win it this year?

Typical Bama posters can't have a conversation without "oh you mad! oh, excuses!"

You guys are going to HONESTLY sit here and tell me that this years BAMA team is as good as the last few teams that won NC's?

Really?
I look back at the 2009 team now, watch those game, etc... and that team was NOT as good or as talented as the teams that came after them. I look at the 2011 team that IMO dominated damn near every team they played with the exception of LSU. I look at the 2012 team most folks thought would struggle with the losses we took to the NFL......... Now we have a team that doesn't look as good "at this time" as teams in the past. Each team has their own identity, we have a new Oline coach working with first year starters and it shows. We have new RB's leading the running game, and it shows.

I HONESTLY think "at this time" this team is not at strong as some teams in the past - but I HONESTLY felt the same damn way back in 2009 - 2011 - 2012.

The fact that a rival fan is already making an excuse "if" Bama wins the crystal this year is comical. Hell, we aren't even halfway thru the season - anything can happen to any team. We lose our starting QB and we're screwed, hell if you lose your starting QB your team is screwed.

Bama has the best shot out of the SEC right now, that's for sure. However, this one will be different than the rest. The talk of Bama's weak 2013 scheduled started in July and gets mentioned in just about every College Football Final. Throw in the fact that overwhelming evidence has come up of Bama players being paid. This one won't have as much luster.

Im so tired of hearing people whine about the schedules. Our schedule isnt near as bad as people try and make it out to be.

It is so pathetic to see grown men cry like little girls over a fricking college football schedule. Have some dignity for Christ's sake.

In your opinion did any of the 3 titles have the "luster" you mentioned? Seriously, the '09 title came at the stinky armpit of Terrance Cody vs the Vols........ The 2011 title came with a loss to LSU ........ The 2012 title came with a loss to aTm ........ The crystal has enough shine for us Bama fans, even if our rivals view it as dull.

You realize that at this point it's done mostly to get y'all in a tizzy, right? And yes, Alabama's schedule against the East is pathetic. It's OK to admit the objective truth that it is advantageous to Alabama. The world won't come crashing down.

Your schedule actually looks better now than it did in July. You played a good A&M team at their house and won and Virginia Tech is still ranked (24th I think). The schedule works out pretty well for bama the rest of the way as the teams that you COULD possibly lose to will be at home (except Auburn which I don't think Alabama will lose that game).

So now it's the Championship won't have the "luster". This shite reminds me of somebody trying to turn an aircraft carrier. It takes forever, but it slowly turns.

Imo, no 1 loss team will be there

I don't think so either. I think an undefeated Oregon, Ohio State, Clemson, Stanford type team will get in over a 1 loss SEC team.

I'm not convinced we will. We will be loaded in 2015 though.

If Bama lucks out and three-peats....it will be epic on this board for months, possibly years.

I know it's been beaten to death on this bored, but that's what's hilarious about you guys.

Everyone but you guys see that your schedule is an embarrassment. It's been said even before the season started. When you continually claim you're right while everyone else in the room says you're wrong...you may want to step back and reassess your argument.

That's easy to say when you don't have to do the heavy lifting.

Sample size is incredibly small. The A&M game. There is no way shape or form to gauge what this team is about by watching what they did against the rest of the teams you've played.

I don't think that it will be quite as big a deal as you think. A three-peat certainly is possible for this team. My personal opinion is that there will not be an SEC team in the championship game but I could be wrong.

The jealousy and envy may overwhelm the haters to the point that they lose interest in college football. Sad.

uh....you have already won 3 out of 4 which all admit is a spectacular feat. Many of my friends and coworkers have already lost interest. Who wants to watch a movie when you have already seen the ending? Not only are you going to win it in 2013, it will be a major upset if you do not win it in 2014, probably 2015, and ........

ZZZZZZZZZZ Why should the rest of us even bother?

With some luck / breaks I agree.

I agree somewhat. If UGA gets through the remaining schedule undefeated and wins the SEC CG I can see UGA playing for it all due to their schedule.

I agree with this. A&M had their full defense for Alabama but that was the first or second game of the season for some of their key players (suspended ones) on defense so we don't really know how good A&M's defense was at that time. They outscored A&M, so I was impressed with that. A&M also hung 42 on Alabamas defense and Alabama rarely ever gives up that many points so you can't really tell anything from that game.

I guess I could see this. They have a really tough schedule so they would deserve it for sure. But would they get in over an undefeated Clemson team who already beat them (providing Clemson was undefeated of course which probably wont happen)?

Of course not. Nor would they get in over an undefeated Florida State if they beat Clemson.
