Second, there's 68 teams in the basketball tournament and a ton in the baseball tournament as well. If you are a bubble team in a 68 team tournament, you shouldn't be the national champion, so it really doesn't matter who gets chosen in the last few spots. Both baseball and basketball play a lot more than 12 regular season games, so it's easier to see who the better teams are.

Looking forward to when my CSU Rams take down the Tide, considering how often they lose at home during this mulligan-infused dynasty.
In an era when a formula is used, comprised of 1/3 from Coaches voting, another 1/3 from media, much of which has a conflict of interests selects 2/124 teams often with identical records to play a single game. this is apparently the same thing as a committee selecting 68/350 teams apparently?

Not as bad as you make it sound. And CFB is gaining on Baseball fast. Will probably pass it in popularity over the next 5-10 years

He's right. Technically it was the SEC that removed UGA from the rotation in '12 and '13 but inserted Mizzou and kept UK. Technically....
