Auburn should just tear down their goal posts and call it a season.

Let's assume there are 6 home games. Let's assume bama wins all 6. Two goal posts at 1800 pounds a piece comes out to a little less than 22,000 pounds a year.

Your math does not check out.

Just got back from a work trip to Alabama. I now know why all you have in your lives is living vicariously through 18 to 22 year old amateur football players.

Wish you'd tell that to all the Louisiana trash that clutter our beaches during the summer and spring break. Sure hope they get the memo.

We'd have to cancel football forever due to the AD going bankrupt.

Leave it to an Aggie to bring math into a feel good moment.

Be serious. Alabama fans know how dangerous it is to tear down goalposts. They're not stupid.

So they've taken to trying to poison them instead. Hasn't worked yet. Damn things are resilient. But they're confident that they'll hit on the right mix of pesticides and herbicides any day now.

They ran out of steam long ago. At one time I think they produced 75% of the steel in America, today they produce between 5% and 10% and they got delisted from the Dow a few years ago.

Imprecise.

We gradually treat the area near the base with concentrated sulfuric acid.
