2019 LSU Regular Season Wins over Ranked Team (FINAL AP Poll ranking):

#6 Florida (11-2)
#8 Alabama (11-2)
#14 Auburn (9-4)
#25 Texas (8-5)

Post Season

#2 Clemson (14-1)
#4 Georgia (12-2)
#7 Oklahoma (12-2)

2021 Georgia Wins over Ranked Teams (Current AP Poll)

#21 Arkansas (7-3)

1. Why don't we wait until the end of the year and see what happens with the rankings. The year isn't even over yet.

2. That doesn't prove how much stronger one team was than another team,. That just proves how much tougher the schedule was. Y'all want to use facts, but you have no idea what they mean or don't mean.

I remember LSU beating like 7 top 10 teams. 2021 UGA has only played 4 teams in the top 25…. This isn’t even an argument

That's because LSU played a lot of ranked teams with a pulse

The difference in that game would be LSU 2019's defense versus UGA 2021 offense, which is nothing to worry about.

It’s funny how clueless you are

OP didn't. Regardless, what teams do you expect to be ranked in the top 10/15 on Georgia's schedule?

Georgia is in line for big wins, but they haven't done it yet.

If we're rankings teams, SOS and SOR matters. Why isn't Cincinnati number 1 or even top 4? Why is 7-3 Arkansas ranked ahead of UL Lafayette?

What facts would you like to base this on? Do you want to use the eye test instead?

We can talk more when Georgia blows out an SEC division champion and its playoff opponents, if that happens.

We have not won a national championship in 40 years so I am cool with just being the best team in 2021

And the OP isn't a Georgia fan, either.

Top 10/15? Why are you stopping there? The post I was talking to didn't stop at 10/15.
Hey. Did you not read what I posted? Somebody's schedule does not (I repeat) does NOT indicate how strong a team is. It speaks to the strength of the schedule.

Absolutely have not, and absolutely MIGHT not. That's why people should cool their heels before crowning teams, don't you think?

No it doesn't. You cold have the greatest team that ever walked God's green earth and they could have the easiest schedule to ever be played. One does not depend on the other. If it did the team with the #1 SOS would be ranked #1 every year in the polls.

No. That's what is so maddening about your arguments. Y'all DO want to use the eye test. Look at what i am typing.

You cannot crown one team over another that played in different years, decades or centuries. Not when they seem to have equal records. There are simply too many other variables.

LSU fans just want to crown 2019 LSU as the GOAT because they are LSU fans. I'm not saying they were not the GOAT. Maybe they are and maybe they are not. Maybe Alabama 2020 was. I don't know and neither does anybody else on this board. It's dumb for people to say things like, "2019 LSU would kill 2021 Georgia!"

Maybe they would. Maybe they wouldn't. But the only way you can make a statement like that is by going by the eye test.

And if Georgia beats Alabama and then both playoff opponents by 50 points a piece it still would not prove they are better than 2019 LSU or 2020 Alabama. Like I said....too many other variables.

Entering that game, the UGA defense was 2nd nationally in scoring defense (10.4) and 4th nationally in total defense (257 ypg). Joe Burrow led LSU to 37 points and 481 yards of offense

I remember LSU having 3 or 4 close games in 2019. Georgia's had one close game late and it was Clemson. A team that was only able to score 3 points.

I don't see Burrow having much success against that D.

Meh, one was 15-0 with NC.

The other hasn't won anything, yet.
