I really hope my team beats your team. But I am not sitting over here praying misfortune finds you. I do not want The Alabama officials to take a pay cut, I do not want Ole Miss to go on probation for their years of cheating, I do not want Tennessee to get dragged through the mid by angry Social Justice Warriors because they are rapey, I do not want Mizzou to be defined by their idiotic professors that have made that campus a shite storm, I do not want the Aggie qb position to completely come unraveled so that it looks unlikely that they will win six games....
Can we stop defining ourselves by our resentments on this board? Sure trolling is great occasional fun. I've done it. But does it have to dominate the board? I'd really like to come back here and see more worthy threads.Especially ones that grudgingly admit that LSU is really the SEC's finest Institution and that Leonard Fournette is a boyishly charming man-beast that all the ladies love. We need more undeniable science like that, and less of the hateful histrionics and hysteria about each other, and the venerable Institutions we support.

Where I will give you credit is I feel bad for some of these fanbases.
Mizzou fans didn't deserve that literal shitshow last year. That plus the Rams thing makes me feel for them.
Also I feel bad for Ole Miss fans, they are good people and often they are pretty cool about their place in the world. I hate that they taste a little success and it all taken away because this sport likes to be a caste system. We all know the amateurism thing is bullshite at this point.
Finally I feel bad for LSU students and fans that have to get dragged in the middle of stupid political battles. The whole point of something like sports is to willingly give you a distraction from that kind of bullshite, but their fricking politicians refuse to be ignored so they are trying to ruin that too.
Yeah I appreciate a good joke like the next guy, and I always love playing The Rant Game, but honestly some thing are bigger than football (the LSU credit rating, the Mizzou application numbers, etc.) and it is sad that we can't be adults sometimes.

Agreed. The school's policies have nothing to do with the students/former students. Mizzou got a lot of flak over that which IMO was not justified.
As for LSU, we can be a torrid bunch on occasion so we probably deserve a lot of the shite that we receive
