98% of them have gotten over something that happened nearly 6 years ago. If only that high a percentage of LSU fans could do the same.

This is a pretty exact number. Do you live in Miami? Did you conduct a survey? Can you provide links? Please?

If Saban had been a good coach, he would still be at Miami instead of some rinky-dink college trying to coach.

Dr. James Andrews, the famous Birmingham sports doctor who did Brees' shoulder surgery said it was an injury so severe that only 1 in 1,000 could ever come back from it to throw a football again. Miami's doctors didn't clear Brees, nor did just about anyone's. The Saints took a huge gamble on him and Brees rehabbed like a mofo to shock even his own doctor. Andrews said Brees' intense rehab work ethic is the only thing that miraculously saved his career. Brees is one tough, solid guy.

Or more correctly, the Dolphin doctors wouldn't clear Brees for the trade to go down. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of another good LSU Saban/Bama flame thread.

What do you thin he would say, that he was wrong?

I can guarantee you one think, the saints didn't pay the money for a 1/1000 shot and if you believe that then you....well I think we have already established that.

Point being, Saints had other opinions saying it wasn't nearly as bad...and those people were right. Also, the guys on ESPN clearly said it was saban's call.

As stated, this was hashed out on ESPN, and Mort said that it was Saban who had the final say. It has nothing to do with LSU/Bama...geez...it is about saban and miami and what they think of him there.

As a Dolphins fan I can honestly say that I don't care for him.

Huh... I thought Saban wanted Brees but the Miami medical staff wouldn't sign off on his physical

Correct. This is just another reason why Saban didnt like the NFL. He's a control freak, and not having full control pisses him off.

Who gives a frick? I'm sure that they like him more than LSU fans because his team didn't beat the Dolphin's eyeballs out in the BCS National Championship Game. Am I right?

Do you think Dolphin's fans start threads on message boards asking what LSU fans think about Saban? I don't.

Do we all think you're overreacting? I do.

Dude you should really seek counseling for the rejection syndrome youre still displaying. They have all sorts of wonderful drugs to help you cope with those empty feelings.

Damn it. Not you again. Gonna start another response thread to call me out if I disagree with you again? I was trying to give Brees a compliment...that his own renowned doctor thought it was a miracle he came back and that Brees has tremendous work ethic and determination to rehab through what would have been a carrer killer for most players..

He very much prefers his situation at Alabama, where he gets to tell the team doctors whether a player has a career ending injury or not.

Good for you. How would you consider what I posted as, "overreacting"? Like I said, who gives a frick?

You seem upset. I'm sorry for provoking you. You just came outta nowhere in a pretty decent thread with this whole rain on everyone's parade with the whole "who gives a frick" thing. The thread isn't about bama. It's about NS and Miami. No need to be so defensive.
