I think he's the guy for Tenn. That was my first look at Tenn yesterday.
Good to see a hint of the Tenn of old yesterday.
His sideline presence and demeanor exuded good leader.

Even with injuries, would you take Tennessee roster over current UGA's roster? I didn't think so.
No. But if you think Gurley, Marshall, and 3 of Georgia's top wide receivers being out for most/all of the game didn't have an effect on the outcome then you are lost. The game was close because of the injuries. If Georgia's offense is full strength they win that game going away.

UT should have won this game.
Yep. But like 2010 LSU, you blew it.

i was impressed with what i saw today (minus the general neyland maxims stuff-but whatever works).
Wtf you talking about - that's like a 70 year tradition and staple of the program.

I see him as a Mike Sherman type guy. Yeah he'll give the Vols all the tools to win, but he'll never be the one to actually get the wins. Four years from now the vols will be a talented team with a better coach.

Before this week, I thought Jones would be just another in a lines of failed coaches at UT. However, I think this will be the guy to lead the Vols to relevancy.
We were mighty beat up, but the Vols showed a lot of fight.
Well put.

I think most sane people can see the difference between yesterday and Derek Doolander nearly lucking into a victory over a Jordan Jefferson led offense.

Exactly. LSU had 450+ yards of offense that game compared to barely 200 for Tennessee. 4 turnovers from LSU kept us in the game.
Total yardage for this game was 434 to 404 in favor of UGA. Zero turnovers on either side until the fumble from Pig in OT.
