Chad Morris is the worst coach to ever coach in the SEC. That's why we are on the list. Coach Pittman inherited a terribly dysfunctional situation. It's amazing our record is even that 'good.'

Now you see why we say the East sucks.

It’s almost like problems on a football roster aren’t solved overnight.

So what? It doesn't ignore the fact that he ran off almost 40 players in two years which has made the Arkansas job horrible and that is why no one wanted this job.

Yes because it is very realistic for Arkansas to be good when they until last year haven't been to a bowl in five years.

Roster turnover happens overnight, you're correct. Changing over from a toxic and lethargic football and administrative culture happens overnight, you're correct. Coach Pittman was hired the last week or two before the late recruiting signing period, so he basically had no recruiting class his first year.

What he's done with our program, considering the uphill battle he inherited, has been pretty amazing. We still aren't upper echelon in the SEC, but we are most definitely trending in a positive direction.

Clearly you are unfamiliar with Derek Dooly, who not only sucked but basically didn't recruit offensive linemen for two years, thus making sure the next coach was stuck in suck as well. As one announcer put it, it was "liken to coaching malpractice". I still think given his close relationship with Saban he was sent to purposely torpedo our program. After all he was hired by a Bama AD. Alabama Dave Hart's other hires... Butch Jones, Donnie Tyndall, Dave Serrano, all abysmal failures.... At least Butch recruited, he was out of his league but he tried. You will never convince me that Dooly was not actively trying to destroy our program however. The Bama "machine" works in mysterious ways.....

Chad never made a commitment to Arkansas. Despite being paid millions, he didn't even move his family to Fayetteville. His excuse was that his son was on a high school football team in Texas (as if Arkansas didn't have H.S. football). He spent a Friday night watching his boy play, then caught a plane to Colorado in time to see his Razorbacks be made to look like fools by Colorado State. I'll agree that he was truly the worst head coach in SEC history.

Wow, South Carolina has a better record than Florida. I didn't realize it was that bad for the Gators.
