Because they're all losers. They just can't fathom that Saban was the route kids felt best to get the to the next level. And they'll all soon have to admit that whatever the route is now, has nothing to do with their development as a player but what they can get from an NIL collective "NOW".

Coach Saban is right again. But personally, I'm getting to the point where I'm rooting for total chaos. Leave the floodgates open. Let unregulated greed rule for a few more years. Let every player's only ambition in college life be to get paid. And what's really cool, we are almost there.

Alabama had been caught cheating in the past. (Albert Means says hello).
They were not caught under Saban. Many other programs were in the time he was there.
The reality is Bama was just as clean as other big football programs were that didn't get caught cheating and more clean then the ones who were caught.
Here are the list of SEC schools that had to vacate wins due to cheating since Saban arrived in the SEC in 2000.
Alabama 2005-2007 (earned due to activities before Saban)
Ole Miss 2010-2014
LSU 2012-2015
Ole Miss 2016
Other noteable NCAA penalties:
2002 UK - Bowl ban
2002-3 Bama - Bowl ban (pre saban)
2004 MSU - Bowl ban
2019 Mizzou - Bowl ban
Tennessee 2018-2020 - 8 million dollar fine for hundreds of recruiting violations. Got away without getting a post-season ban due to "exemplary cooperation" with the NCAA.
The actual evidence suggests Saban cleaned up Bama's act, that LSU got dirtier after Saban left, that Ole Miss cheated under both Houston Nutt and Hugh Freeze, that Tennessee has been cheating recently and that even teams like UK, Mizzou and MSU cheated during Saban's stay in the SEC.
It doesn't suggest Saban teams were buying recruits at a level that got them looked at by the NCAA while Bama was doing that before and LSU was doing that after.
The evidence suggests he ran "cleaner than normal" programs when compared to his predecessors at Bama, those who followed at LSU and the SEC in general.

If this was anybody but Saban everybody would be behind him a hundred percent. It's only being complained about because it's Saban. The whole world has complained about NIL and the portal but then say, oh, Sabans just complaining. Fine, keep it the way it is but all these hypocrites don't need to say another word about it not working. Obviously you are all fine with it and nobody should mess with it.
