disagree, we'll have trouble with both Auburn and Florida.

Remember last year, we didn't cakewalk through either.

Might be his best D ever. The offense has been better.

I don't think the SEC will ever be as bad as it was in 2000. Only one team in the SEC finished with fewer than 4 losses that year.

This team has its strengths and weaknesses just like any other team. But unless the new QB plays defense too, the USC game isn't so easily discounted.

This year it's kinda true. Nobody really scares you in the SEC outside of Bama. The east was bad. LSU had coaching issues. Ole Miss was terrible. There just aren't the teams that normally make the conference top heavy.

I agree. Bama hasn't been tested yet. Who knows what will happen post season.

now I think it's a historically bad SEC. Bama has a pretty good team, but the rest of the league is average at best. I don't see Bama winning the NC this year. The Hurts kid hasn't faced any Top 10 competition all year. Don't even think about mentioning USC, because we all know they gelled after changing QBs.

Not sure why you thought that

No dominating RB like we always have
No QB who can get the ball down the field and check down
FG kicker who isn't close to good.
Defense is good but no better than 92 or 2011

Serously, why did you think that? Because Bama has a mobile QB? This isn't one of Saban's best 5 teams and Only 2007 may be worse.

2011 or 2012 were his best. 2012 ran into a buzzsaw QB who had the quarter of his life against us and a sky high, as they usually are, LSU team. Nobody else came remotely close to us.
2012
Best QB we ever had
Heisman finalist RB
Stifling league leading defense
Receiving corps that was unstoppable AND THE BEST receiver in the country
Backup RB's that would start anywhere else

I agree, 2012 is still Sabans best team. Pro style methodical offense that scored 542 points and the #1 defense in the league.

I'd let the year play out. This team is very good.

Good for you.
