I used to think this was Saban's best team at Bama...

now I think it's a historically bad SEC. Bama has a pretty good team, but the rest of the league is average at best. I don't see Bama winning the NC this year. The Hurts kid hasn't faced any Top 10 competition all year. Don't even think about mentioning USC, because we all know they gelled after changing QBs.

I agree that our stock is inflated.

It won't take our best team to win out and win the NC this year.

Most other teams are dog shite this year too, except for the top seven or so.

Yeah, because the B1G and the ACC stock isn't just as well inflated?

The great Wisconsin barely beat LSU before they switched QBs. That same team gave UM and OSU all they could handle.

Color me unimpressed

Alabama barely beat lsu. What the hell you talking about

Wisconsin and bama outplayed lsu. Considerably. Being in those games scoreboard wise was highway robbery

No other conference is any better though. Clemson, Ohio state are both struggling with below average competition in conference. At least bama is dominating their competition.

Aside from Bama, CFB sucks this year. So much mediocrity. Bama will cakewalk to the national title.

It was a very bipolar year for the SEC

I think this is the best Bama defense. I think the playcalling has hurt the offense a bit and they should run the ball more. If they win out, then I'd say this is his best Bama team. The front 7 and overall defensive speed is what I really like though.

Well, they beat the eventual PAC 12 champ 52-6 so...

Just sayin...

Who do you think can beat them?

for the last 3 or 4 years I've been hearing "it's a down year for the SEC" yet the SEC seems to normally dominate the bowl season...like last year.

I disagree, I think Ohio State is a very good football team this year.

Oklahoma is a good team, Clemson is a good team.

Michigan I think is a pretender and will get shitstomped by OSU.

In think there is a lot parity after the top few teams and those teams have beaten each other up

Turnovers would be the big issue in my opinion. I think Clemson can also get hot on offense sometimes. It really isn't a great year in CFB though.

Not the best team, but it can win the golden vagina trophy so long as Hurts manages the offense effectively to control the clock, win field position, and protect the football.

I think this may be the best defense. It's an Eddie Jackson and pk that is reliable tween 30 and 45 away from being the best STs.

I think OU isn't that great. Clemson and OSU I think are pretty strong but both are inconsistent. They're scary when they're on and mediocre when they're sleepwalking.

Bama has won 4 of the last 7 national championships. I think I'll put my money on Bama.

To be fair, we often play to the level of our competition. ***
