Did that oline protect him more than they did Allen?

They did, but only after someone made the call to bring in an entirely different o-line than they've been running out there all season long.

The management of this offensive line is going to be what cost Bielema his job.

If he improves his release he'll be playing on Sundays. I was really impressed.

No. He and his friends were smoking weed in front of dude's house and dude came out and shot up his truck.

It is tragic however it went down, and by all accounts Kelly is a stand-up guy. He has been active in the community from the day he got here. Please don't poor mouth a dude who had to watch his friend's brains get blown out. I would hope even LSU fans would be above that kinda shite.

bad mouth? just reading the case, seems the boys had to get together to come up with a story to tell police JW how a guy who is caught up in a murder after trying to rob someone is playing football

"Sounds like"?
Sounds to me like maybe Louisiana works backwards from the rule of law the rest of this country follows.

If he can learn to throw a change up and not every pitch has to be a 97 mph fastball.

While LSU hasn't fielded a competent QB in over a decade.

Literally can't believe this story to be honest. I find the kid's account to be credible. But at the same time, I would also find it credible if they were trying to break into that vehicle.

And was Fontenot high at the time this happened? Did the police explore that angle?

I also wonder about the parents on both the group associated with the victim, and the killer.

Who the hell gives a kid a 9mm handgun with hollow point bullets? Assuming that is how he got the handgun, really? That how you guys roll in Louisiana?

I can tell you something else. My kid would never dare to drive a car without a driver's license.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven. And yet I'm sure it is going to happen again, and again, and again, with the same curious legal system results each time.
