Huge arm, didn't play scared, made mostly good decisions.

He was under pressure the entire game and his receivers barely got separation and he didn't look like a deer in the headlights. I know it'd be hard to do but I think you gotta ride with him the rest of the season.

Really reminded me a lot of Big Ben the way he played. An interesting prospect to watch the rest of this year and in the future.

He's pretty good. Lots of upside. But he has a huge fatside too: Bert.

He has some experience in situations where bullets start flying.

For a freshman in his first start against a great defense, he did well. He will probably start this week against Awbarn. Should be interesting

His style of play really, really reminded me of Big Ben. He uses his size well and seems totally comfortable with guys around and grabbing on him. He's able to have a guy around his thigh and still throw it flat footed into the 2nd row.

Looked good.

Should give the new staff something to build on next season.

You're thinking of Chad Kelly.

You're thinking of Chad Kelly.

No he is referring to when he got shot, literally. Think it was in high school.

Freshman starter and all...

He certainly shows poise under pressure.

He needs to learn the grounding rule.

He needs to develop touch. Sometimes its good to float one a bit in critical situations where a receiver is wide open.

I would say no and yes. I thought they did better than they have been, but it's still God awful.

He was under heat the entire night. He's so freakin big though that even when he gets hammered it still takes a while to drag him down.

It's like bringing down a giant in those sci-fi movies.

Why do people keep saying the kid is a freshman? He isn't a fricking freshman. He is a sophomore.

And I agree. The kid has moxie. I was kinda wondering last night if he was gonna stud out in that second half. It had the potential to change things in my mind. But he didn't.

Hogs have a secret visitor today, guys/gals. ;)

The O-Line wouldn't protect the Pope better. Allen or Kelley we are just woeful there. The weird thing is... I think we have talent there, they are just, for the most part, horrible at their jobs.

Kelley, despite being a freshman, does seem to have better pocket presence then Allen and doesn't seem to get rattled as easily.

That may be what Arkansas needs then.

If the line cannot hold up, you need someone like that, or someone shifty enough to just escape.

I was worried Bama might have killed Allen if he played last night, tbh.

Who knows how the Arky/AU game will go? I think both fanbases want the current HC gone.
