Havent you heard? They are going to cancel the game because TN is the best team to ever hit the field and no on can score on them, stop them, or even breath the same air.

Bama has a poorly coached defense. Their entire team has been rather undisciplined much of the year.
this is why tsio was what it was this year.

Georgia is the least penalized team in league play (32/5 games) and UTK is the second most (67/4 games) behind - you guessed it - Alabama (69/5 games).

Dawgs are a more disciplined team and though not as 'explosive' downfield with WRs as vols - UGA characteristically has not moved backwards on offense due to flags - nor leave its defense on the field due to penalties. Georgia defense has committed 10 penalties that gave the opponent a 1st down. UTk defense has committed 20 penalties resulting in a 1st down for its opponents.

discipline is magnified in a game like Saturday's - especially in front of what will be a raucous Sanford crowd that hasn't had a worthwhile protagonist to torment yet this season. that changes this weekend. advantage Georgia.

UGA has too many key injuries on defense to make us one dimensionsal. I really don't see ggem stopping our running game.

He's dealing with a similar injury that just knocked Irv Smith Jr out for 8-10 weeks.

Key to this game is how much success Georgia has stopping Tennessee's run game with 5. Jalen Carter playing like a top 3 draft pick would help tremendously.

Whoever wins, I will probably wish they lost after they start posting on the rant.

I can see Tenn scoring 50 on Ga not saying we are going to win but I think it will be either like the Bama game a shoot out or like the LSU game a blow out . I don’t think Ga will win by more than 1 score unless they get several picks and that can happen

The Premier game of the week ... My Father in law (RIP) got his Masters from UT and his PHD from UGA ... when these teams would play every year he would wear Orange pants (UT) and a red/black shirt (UGA) ... he looked a mess and when I asked who he pulled for he simply said whoever was behind at the time ... I always watched this game with him and it's one of my all time favorites

Went back and rewatched the Bama UT game yesterday. You are correct. Bamas D looked lost and poorly coached. The question is, Is that the case or is it a function of just how good UTs system and players perform. Guess we will have a clearer pic Saturday

Vols win bigly.

Not going to argue the point, because it is certainly possible. But when I see comments like this i have to ask what bigly means? Are we talking 20+ points? 14+? What is bigly?

On the flip side...with the exception of it being a home game, you could swap Georgia with Alabama in the above paragraph, and it would have been accurate.

Well, if you narrow it down to only the factors you mentioned...sure. But Georgia won't commit 130 yards in penalties.

Nobody seems capable of stopping Tennessee's offense. I also see improvement in their defense, which is, or should be concerning.

One huge key (for me0 is turnovers. If Bennett gets careless with the ball we are in trouble. You simply can't give Tennessee extra chances with the ball. This game scares me. It's the type of game that is best played by two teams you are not emotionally invested in.

and I don't know whether that was UT or Bama coaching that caused it.

Alabama's defense has looked ok in their other games, and Tennessee's offense has not really been stopped, so I think it is safe to assume UT's offense is just good and can make a defense look bad.
