I think Georgia is going to beat the stuffing out of Tennessee

I know Flarda sux. Blah blah

I don't think Georgia has gotten up to play anyone since week 1. Kirby will have them ready. UT does have the firepower to come from behind, though if UGa let's up like they did with UF.

BTW, not rooting for either team, just what I think will happen.

It reminds me of UTs game with Bama.

“UT hasn’t been tested like Bama, Bama has played at Texas!”

Maybe UGA hasn’t been tested, doesn’t mean they don’t make an A on the first test…

I like our chances.

UGA has some key injuries they are dealing with
If they make Tenn one dimensional on offense they can beat them, Smart probably tries to take away the run game

I do think UGA's offense is a tad underrated

And some that have been injured that have recently returned, most importantly Jalen Carter. Nolan Smith being out is an issue though. AD Mitchell just returning, if he does, also an issue.

Ok...here's the truth. Georgia absolutely should beat UT and should beat them soundly. Georgia has more talent with their starters and much more talent with their 2s and 3s on the depth chart. Georgia is playing at home and has more experience being on the big stage than UT. Georgia has one of the top (if not the top) coaching staffs in the country.

On the flip side...with the exception of it being a home game, you could swap Georgia with Alabama in the above paragraph, and it would have been accurate.

So, Georgia should beat UT...and should beat them soundly...but they are playing on grass and not paper...so anything can happen.

I hope he’s back and atleast 90%, but offense has adjusted to it having him there at this point. We are a better offense with him on the field though

You are right, Georgia is loaded with a lot of talent as well as being big and physical. Both teams will be ready to play.
Tennessee will have to stop the run to have a chance and the O line will have to play exceptionally well. Sounds simple, but if they cannot do these 2 thing, it will be a long day.
Should be a fun game to watch.

I don't know what to think on this one. Bama's defense looked like they did not know what the hell they were doing, and I don't know whether that was UT or Bama coaching that caused it.

Bama has a poorly coached defense. Their entire team has been rather undisciplined much of the year. The defensive staff needs to be fired at the end of the year.

Take away the UT game and they are statistically (with the exception of penalties) a better defense than Georgia (based on points and total yards allowed per game).

that to me is the biggest thing people are seemingly ignoring. On paper our offense is pretty much on par with tennesee's, we just don't go super fast so it's not talked about as much. We still score into the 40s pretty regularly but also have a better D than them.

don't sell that point short though. UT hasn't playd a truly hostile environment yet in 2022. Only twice away from neyland, only 1 of which is actually tough, and that crowd was taken out of the game within about 5 minutes.
