Looks to me like IF jones touched the ball, it was simultaneous with Peterson touching it. Clearly a clean interception.

Nah, that would be USC's "dynasty" under carroll, which consisted of exactly 1 national title.

Well they blew it for sure. I was at that game and when they showed the replay there was a lot of, "oh frick we just got away with one" among the Bama fans.

fake picture or not, that was an interception. There is no way to argue anything to the contrary.

Reverse the rolls and Bama would have claimed 3 interceptions on that play.

It was a two score win for Bama. Jefferson was injured at that point and a sophomore Jarrett Lee was leading the LSU offense. He finished with 4 completions, 44 yards, and an interception. This would not have made a difference in the outcome of the game. I would say that y'all need to let this shite go after 6 years if I didn't get so much amusement out of it.

Are you retarded? There were 6ish minutes left in the game with bama holding a 6 point lead. You don't think LSU stealing possession/momentum there would have made any difference?

I (nor anyone else) can say what would have happened after that play, but it damn sure would have affected the game.

LSU's offense was totally impotent for basically the entire game. It wouldn't have changed the outcome.

You have absolutely no idea what would happened. Neither do I..nobody does. But it absolutely would have changed the game. I'm not saying "if it was an intercpetion, LSU would win!" because that's impossible to know. But LSu gaining possession there in a 6 point game is a game changer.

LSU couldn't even move the ball in the 4th quarter. I'll agree the call was bull shite, but getting that INT doesn't suddenly mean LSU wins the game. LSU was still down 15-21 and was having trouble against 'Bama's defense. LSU was held to under 100 yards rushing and Jarret Lee came into the 4th quarter, going 4-10 and an INT at the end of the game.

Are you panty wadded people still whining about a call made 6 years ago?
You do realize that none of the players in 09 are still playing in college?

Grow the frick up and move on. I could post several pictures of questionable calls that have gone against Bama from decades ago to just this past weekend.
But I shall not be such the complainer.

Care about what? You guys are the ones making a big fuss over a blown call that happened 6 years ago. I came here for the entertainment.
