When I saw Tom Ritter's soulless bug eyes i thought for sure that the Old South Racist College was dead in the water. Not sure what happened. I reckon the Touououwopohoys must have beat his price with that Captain D's money. When you lay with snakes, you get bit, Gumps.

LSU was down 6 (21-15) and had the mo after Ridley had just scored a TD on the LSU drive right before that. As I recall, it wasn't just the refs cheating for Bama. The SEC wanted an undefeated Bama vs an undefeated Florida in the SECCG to assure a team in the BCSCG. Florida's opponents got shafted at critical times several games that year.
