I guess the fact that I sat thru the 96 game in Tiger Stadium made 97 more enjoyable. I think Freshman Shaun Alexander ran for about 9000 yards that day in 96.

The fans aren't that bad, as long as we're runnin' the damn ball. After that, we have some quality mulleted crackers, that also wanna run the damn ball.

We've got season tickets and the we have a fan that sits about 3 rows above ours. All that bastard does the ENTIRE game is yell at the top of his lungs "Run the ball....RUN THE DAMN BALL KIFFIN!"....the entire fricking game.

My dad was a Midshipman and my grandma went to LSU.

In regards to the OP, I can definitely say the same thing about LSU. I've never had a bad experience with LSU fans win or lose in Tuscaloosa or Baton Rouge. Watching LSU win in Tiger Stadium (when they aren't playing Bama) is an extremely fun experience and I hope to make it to a game this year other than Bama. Just as A-Day Fans =/= typical Alabama students/graduates.. BCSF attendees =/= typical LSU students/graduates.

I've been everywhere in the conference other than Kentucky and the new schools.......

The only two bad experiences I had were in Starkville in 2007 after the game and in Gainesville in 2006.
