cutcliffe was throwing the ball late in the game when he should have been running it.

Did you watch the 3rd quarter? They went into cruise control until A&M started coming back.

There was a game.....maybe the 99 or '00 Vandy game, that I'll never forgive him for. We were tied with 45 seconds left, at our own 40 or so with all three timeouts, and he killed the clock to send it to OT. Vandy won it.

This was when Vandy was Vandy, and pretty much a given W on the schedule. I still haven't gotten over it.

If he had been playing anybody else he would have won that game. Let's not pretend Cutcliff lost last night to any old someone. He lost to the greatest freak of nature QB in modern history. Ole Miss still dumb for firing him. He has no depth because it's fricking Duke, a basketball school. Imagine what he could do at Kentucky....

He also lost a lot of big games. He won the Cotton Bowl and the Auburn game. Every other big game, he lost.

Just curious. How is his record vs other coaches four year span?

How is this relevant? He is the only coach to have Eli Manning. Eli is the reason for our success in 2003 not Cutcliffe. Our D was not good, we had average at best WR and no depth anywhere.

Also he was there 6 seasons. Which 4 do you want?

They have little depth because he's at Duke and because he's not a good recruiter

He's at Duke. That's all that needs to be said. He's not exactly getting Bama/LSU type prospects there.

Eh. Cant blame him for last night. They played about as well as they could imo.

It's funny you mentioned this. His name came up during our coaching search and was skimmed over pretty quickly due to his lack of recruiting and due to his health.

Yeah, can't blame him for that falling downflip/int...That team was ready to play. Plus, Duke lead the NCAA in 4thquarter scoring, so they have played to win, all year..Don't know if the OP knows that..
