Like Texas Tech, A&M won't be able to score if they don't have the ball. I think Arkansas will run the ball right over that not-so-improved defense of the Aggies. It will be a low-scoring slugfest (in the high 20's) with a tip to the huge offensive line of the hogs.

I come from the future, and you are right.

This is the beginning of the end for A&M.

They got fat and happy off beating HS teams but that ends Saturday.

Meh. This all has to do with timing. Had USC beaten Georgia in week 3, then been destroyed 52-28 (could've been 59, but Lord Sumlin is merciful) by TAMU in week 4, everyone would be shitting themselves. Seems that everyone is under the mistaken assumption that since we haven't run a train on anyone good since August 28th that we're suddenly incapable. We probably shouldn't even dress Kaser. Our offense will score at will.

Our defense is twice as good as last year and our offense is twice as fast and powerful

Yes, Tech = A&M. We're basically the exact same program.

A&M Offensive performances vs. SEC teams under Kevin Sumlin:

Vanderbilt - 56 points (1 game)
Auburn - 104 points (52 ppg)
South Carolina - 52 points (1 game)
Arkansas - 103 points (51.5 ppg)
Mississippi State - 89 points (44.5 ppg)
Missouri - 80 points (40 ppg)
Alabama - 71 points (35.5 ppg)
Ole Miss - 71 points (35.5 ppg)
Florida - 17 points (1 game)
LSU - 29 points (14.5 ppg)

Arkansas is NOT holding A&M below 30.

This misconception really needs to stop. Texas Tech didnt have trouble keeping up due to a lack of opportunities, they had trouble keeping p because Arkansas stopped them six times. Texas Tech had 10 possessions and scored on just 4 of them. If A&M gets 10 possessions, we'll score a lot more than 28 because we are better at literally every position on offense than Tech.

I just think Arky has found its identity as a running team.

A&M has had 51 offensive possessions. They've scored on over 68 percent of them.

29 touchdowns
8 punts
6 field goals
4 turnovers
4 half-ending drives

That means about 60% of all A&M drives have ended in touchdowns this season.

A&M gets 10 possessions? You can pretty much assume that, best case scenario, A&M ONLY scores 40 points.

Not mad, just correcting yet another misconception. I actually gave credit to Arkansas' defense and you still got pissy.

I could see it. Bert is hungry for that first SEC win and A&M is highly overrated.

Texas Tech allowed 178 yards rushing to CENTRAL ARKANSAS, put up 636 yards of total offense, and ONLY SCORED 42, winning 42-35. Central Arkansas hasn't rushed for more than 142 yards in any game since.

Texas Tech allowed 268 yards rushing to UTEP, put up 504 yards of offense, and ONLY SCORED 30, winning 30-26. New Mexico State held UTEP to 90 yards rushing.

Was anyone really surprised that Arkansas was able to abuse the Red Retards?
