Intelligence is mostly a natural trait. If your kid is born a dumbass, there's not much he's going to be able to do about it.

College baseball is the perfect length, enough games to go through a slump and be ok but short enough so you can actually pay attention to every game without it being overly burdensome.
And like someone else said it's a "pure" sport. Most of the players out there are on 25% scholarships, it's not overly corporate, no tv timeouts, etc.
Truth be told, in a lot of ways I prefer it to college football. Baseball was always my first love, was way more into it growing up than I ever was football.

I was at a bar last night and I had 2 tvs with the Fla baseball game on one and the softball game on the other. I caught myself watching the softball game more because it is just faster. Way less fricking around between pitches. I love both sports but softball is better viewing imo. I don't like them tinkering with the rules of baseball because of its purity, but it does tend to drag on, and it was a very exciting game in baseball. Much closer and I usually will watch the closer game much more.

I support all LSU sports but I'd only watch softball over baseball to peek at the obvious
