I would be down for trips to BR every other year. It's fun to mess around with people on here but unless they're playing UGA, I always pull for LSU. Took my wife to the game in BR a few years ago and it was one of the best football experiences I've had (and not just because UGA won). The LSU fans were great to us (must've been saving the piss balloons that weekend?
) Awesome game day experience and the food is the best you'll find anywhere. Plus all the LSU fans I know in real life are great people.
That being said, I know LSU and UGA fans wouldn't trade coaches. I've gotten used to UGA having good QB play, couldn't imagine having Miles come to Athens and nuking that

I never can decide who i root for: LSU (4yrs) or UGA (3yrs).....Got to go with my HOME state!!!!!!

I must tell about my Georgia trip.
Day of the game was my 30th birthday. On a whim, I bought tickets online only 2 days before the game. Had to call seller and get him to ship the tix to Athens fedex overnight because of time. Got to Athens, picked up the tix 2 hours before the game, hung around the campus and town (which was spectacular I must say) then made our way to stadium. I knew I had good seats but wasn't exactly sure about them because I hadn't been to a game there before. Low and behold my seats were 3 rows up from the hedges around the 10 yardline smack dab in the middle of the LSU crowd! I was beyond ecstatic to say the least. The game and atmosphere was awesome, LSU won! After the game, the coaches threw their hats into the LSU crowd and I actually caught Larry Porter's hat. Best 30th bday a guy could've asked for! The way it all unfolded was just so surreal. So thanks UGA for the memories!

Hell I'm in the same Boat. I like UGA for some reason unless we play, even then their respectable win or lose, I've been too games we "LSU" won amd loss vs UGA and never had a bad experience. Only fan base I can say that about.

LSU is one of the few teams I don't mind pulling for, when not playing UGA, of course.

I've been to plenty games in BR and pulled for LSU when they were playing other teams

They are the biggest collection of dueches in the sec, they think they were the better team in 03 and 07 and their coach said we have the worst fan base.

07 we both had great teams and it would have been a hell of an SECCG. Both had some bad losses but yours got the job done
When did Richt say you had the worse fan base?

UGA is probably my 2nd favorite SEC team, too.
If I absolutely had to pick one. Obviously would be no one from the West. Kentucky and Vandy don't count. Definitely not Florida or Tennessee.

I had some bad experiences with UGA fans in 04 and 05 and hated them for awhile.
As the years have gone on though, I've grown to respect the fans and their program. We both have had some success without winning as many championships as we seemingly could have. I think we get each other to certain point.
And Athens is pretty cool too.

I went to Athens when we played there in 2013.
I loved Athens, in my opinion it's the best college town in the SEC hands down.
I've been to every SEC campus other than Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Vandy. Of all the ones I've been to, UGA and Auburn have been my two favorite.

I will have to admit UGA is my 2nd fav SEC team as well. I have always liked Richt ever since I saw that pregame special on ESPN of him and his family struggles he was/is going through. I came out of that thinking that he is a genuinely good guy and I hoped he would stay in the SEC for a long time.
