Listen dude. Someone in the West is going to have to finish last. Everyone in the West will likely be capable of competing at times with top 10 teams. You could make a good case for anyone but Alabama and probably Auburn for finishing last in the SEC West next year. I just happen to think it will be y'all

Three things:
1. Mississippi State will lose to Kentucky, which means that they're in good position to finish last.
2. Prescott may end up being the best QB in the conference, but it will be close. Guaranteed.
3. Don't even remotely care what Robinson was ranked out of high school. By his senior year, he was a very good running back. You're not going to just add a 4 star RB and say "Hey, look, it's the new Nick Chubb everybody. Stop looking at Georgia for the best running back in the conference because we have him here.

I like Mullen and State but you guys don't have the depth to contend this year.

I like State, was born in Starkville and went to state games until we moved to AL when I was 12. With that said here is MSST's schedule.
I will bold games that state will win and underlined losses the rest would be a toss up. IMO the most important game for state will be the LSU game. Win and it will give confidence and momentum. Lose that game and it will be a long season. LSU is much more talented but fortunately for state you get them very early in the season, at home. State has a Sr. Qb while who knows for LSU at the qb position. Teams that are no doubt more talented and will be better than state are:
Bama, Aub, and LSU
I see 5 sure wins, only 1 sec sure win. I see 3 sure losses, @Aub, Bama and @Ark
Leaving
LSU at home, toss up but due to time of year I'd give state the edge, even though LSU has a much more talented roster
@ TAMU really don't see state leaving college station with a W but TAMU is kind a mystery team right now, they'll have a very potent offense and will be motivated.
@ Mizzo , again hard to see a win, mizzo just keeps on quietly winning
Last game vs Ole Miss at home should be a win but who knows.
Honestly, I think state losses all the sec road games, @Aub,@Mizzo, @Tamu, and @ Ark. Plus a home loss to Bama. That leaves a win versus UK, and two tossups LSU and ole Miss. LSU will be key, win that game and there's a shot at not being last in the secw. Steal a win at TAMU and at Mizzo and it could be a good year. 1-8 Sec at worst, and 5-3 at best. 3-5 is my current prediction.

Yeah I agree with you. MSU or whoever finishes last could still end up with an 8-4 record and finish in the top 25. I don't think people are disrespecting us by putting us last more so than giving the SECw huge respect.
