Doesn't really matter at this point.
Something like this is ALWAYS the beginning of the end.

I just feel bad for poor Houston Nutt. He's having a hard enough time finding a HCing job and now this.

I'm assuming that during the Jeffrey Simmons fiasco, Ole Miss fans rarely posted here.........cause they act like folks aren't supposed to post about other programs having issues.

but you realize that the people here are fans of schools that we are kicking the arse of with alarming regularity these days. needless to say, there perspectives will be biased as well.

I'm specifically asking for input on the Ole Miss investigation in this thread.

Think: They will receive more penalties than the self imposed.
Hope: They will receive much less than what Alabama received.
No fun as a fan knowing your team has very little chance of being competitive for a few years. At his stage of my life I don't wish that on fans of any school.
Even a fan a "lower" program can have some level of anticipation going into a season, even if it may not be realistic. But when big sanctions are handed down, even fans of traditional powers know it is going to be a long year...or 4.
Ole Miss being strong has made the season more exciting, and disappointing. I say the same about any program who may have been down for awhile and then has an increase of success.
Good Luck, I am afraid Ole Miss is going to get hit fairly hard. And if Freeze is not able to survive, the recovery may take longer due to the additional changes.
