Who is more jaded...a fan of a team that went on a 14 year losing streak to LSU. Or a fan of the team who went on a 14 year winning streak and has witnessed multiple SEC and NC appearances and wins in my adult life.

What really makes "sense" is using a common opponent as a gauge of strength when the two teams actually already played each other.

When you get that diploma, wipe your arse with it.

Not only that, we beat the common opponent while UK lost to the common opponent. I honestly have no clue if Hardy is an actual retard or not

In reality, the backups are only that important at a few positions, primarily the front 4 on defense. Even then they are less important than starters. So your statement is pretty far from accurate.

They'll be lucky to win 7. 5-6 regular season wins is more likely.

Congratulations on having a strong history. You may want to scrub up on it as much as possible before the season kicks off.

I really don't expect LSU to win more than 6 to 8 games this year. Relying on the backup to the worst SEC QB I've seen in 5 years is going to be fun for me to watch.

wish someone would change your computer dictionary that every time you typed melt, it was just not put a word because you abuse the shite out of a term that you apparently don't understand what it means. ? The rant has failed you in that you've been reduced to a homer that talks about melts and talks about being in people's heads and being daddy for teams you have never beaten since joining the conference. It is sad. ?

Predicted response: "melt melt melt, melt melt, melt melt melt. i can't believe I'm living in yer head rent free. aggy is daddy, melt melt melt melt.

Next time save your educated neighbor the trouble of typing all of that out for you, and just type "melt".

The lazy reporters that just look at returning starters is a bad way to evaluate State's team because of all the experience the backups received, but people ignore why the backups played so much. Its because their two most talented players were backups. Their backup DL has never played a down of college football. Same can be said at a lot of other position groups.Their depth made them really good last year. The difference in this year's team and last year's is the fact they do not have a Chris Jones or Will Redmond on the second team.

I know you probably thought this was hugely thought out and brilliant. But every teams back ups are pretty much inexperienced. It's just that last yr State played backups a shiteload. We really didn't like it at the time. It's good for this year. But it was a certain coaches philosophy. Nothing to do with " we had to". Our back ups this year have played as much and have as much experience as most all other teams.

Am I too late to accuse you of preemptively making excuses for an LSU shite show?

I just think LSU has too much talent for MSU and I'm not worried about it being in Starkville it's not the scariest place to play weve throttled them way too many times there

Not at all!

I've already made my prediction for the outcome of the game though.

Harris is going to throw one TD for each of your punctuation marks.

I can't honestly say that you couldn't have written a more precise and accurate summary, including the potential record.

Really, you think so.

You are not going to have a successful SEC season without quality experienced depth across the board.
The starters can't do it alone.

Being you mentioned the Dline. State lists six players as backups to the starting four. Of those six, four haven't seen the field yet for the dogs. They will be really experienced come the second game of the season VS LSU.

No axe to grind...but Dak is not an accurate passer..watched enough MSU games last year that I know he continually threw behind or above receivers a LOT. His receivers helped him a lot by snagging a lot of these...hope this years edition can do likewise. I'd love to see them win big and all....but I dont think its possible. A bowl season would be great for them.
Dak is a great athlete and that opened up passing for him, but without Josh Robinson?

Shumpert is more talented than JRob.
