"Alabama claims a bunch of championships they didn't win" is one thing but "Alabama's championships don't count because no one else cares about football"? Goddamn, that is sad.

Yea, and the 25 years of Coach Bryant was Bryant not Bama. Oh, and the 8 years of Wallace Wade was Wade not Bama. And the 15 years of Coach Thomas was Thomas not Bama. And the 7 years of Coach Stallings was not Bama but Stallings.
Saban and those coaches had similar winning %. All 5 were all > 80%. The rest of the SEC combined has 3 above 80% (with 5 years or more).
Even without Coach Bryant's 13 SEC titles, Bama would be tied for the most in the SEC with 13 and Coach Wade was before the SEC was formed. 7 different coaches have won 26 SEC titles and 5 have won 15 NCs. Even Bill Curry and Mike DuBose won SEC titles - Bama, excuse me, Mike Dubose beat Spurrier twice in the same year, stopping their 30 game home win streak, and in the SEC title game. Mike DuBose. This in the midst of a crippled Bama's worst decade in their history. Bama has won at least 1 title in all 9 decades of the SEC's history, 2nd is LSU with 7.
Bama is such a stranger to success.
