That loss at Cal.. losing their best WR and the Kicker made that game a lot different than it should have been... Shea is pretty freakin good at QB (just depends on his arm a little too much) and their WRs are a top notch unit. Their D is pretty solid. This is NOT a lower tier SEC team... They don't have much in the way of a running game which puts them behind the barn as maybe the 4th best team in the league imo.. what am I missing?

I think it's still too early to see what kind of team they will be.

One dimensional offense, defense optional.

Do you not get this narrative because your team is suddenly playing them this week and are trying to pump them up a bit before their 52-17 loss? Because that's what it looks like

Typical L6er LMBO Reading is fundamental... comprehension is essential

Their coach is like a weaker, poorer, less skilled version of Coach YawYaw, AND he has sharklike teeth.

The fact they play us tough every year regardless of talent level makes them a bother perpetually.. They appear to present more of a challenge than most care to give them credit for... they certainly look more capable than L6 tho lol.

yeah... they can't run the ball so pretty much all you have to do is play prevent defense and if you have a decent front 4 you can win the game. They have no depth and poor tackling at linebacker so the best way to beat them is to run the ball to the outside then when they get gassed pound it up the middle.

SEC Rank

Scoring D - 10th
Total D - 9th
Rush D - 10th
Pass D - 8th

Opponents - South Alabama, TN - Martin, Cal

Might want to look up the word solid.

We aren't a bottom tier team (see Missouri, A&M, maybe Florida), but we aren't far from one.

We have a pretty one dimensional offense due to the fact that our OL cant run block. Like I think they have never been taught how to do so. Our QB/WR combination is deadly, coaching is meh, and our defense has been doing all that they can. They played well in the first half of the Cal game, but got gassed when the offense couldn't get off of the field. Lack of a running game contributed to this.

Basically, if you can disrupt Shea and play decent enough pass coverage to keep Shea from throwing for 350 yards, you've got a good chance to beat us.

Starting center injured and will not play. No running game. Linebackers are pusses who will not tackle. Little QB pressure threat outside of Haynes. Starting CB/KR injured and may not play. Young and inconsistent secondary.

We are a one dimensional team with no defense. This game should not be close. I cant tell if you're trolling, stoned, or don't care to follow football?

You're not doing it right. You're supposed to kick us while we are down to help bury the bad memories that Hugh put on the SEC West.

I see you're as bad at evaluating football as you are at basketball.

They're giving up 185 yards rushing and 25 points a game to:

UT-Martin
South Alabama
Cal

They have a good QB, but their run defense may be the worst in the SEC outside of Missouri.

Defense was worse last year though. It's not good but if we don't give up a ton of explosive plays and have been good on third down. My hope for the year is that we remain good in those two areas.

Thanks for the insight... I just watched the CAL game.. there was a call or play here or there that could have turned that game... like the no call on the fumble after the Cal WR clearly had possession and took a step and half... in a football motion. The interceptions were inexcusable and costly tho.. CAL was not much better tbh. Lack of depth and a running game is going to get you guys destroyed on Sat I imagine.

Well no shite. Did the whole page of posts give you the bright idea that this may be a-hole pounding of the year? I hope our shitty defense burns your eyeballs out and you cant watch bama go on to win SEC in predictable fashion.
