How about we eclipse the 400 yard rushing mark on the pigs.

John Ringer ?@jkringer 29m29 minutes ago I want to be very clear about what that stat means - When Alabama or Texas A and M runs the ball against Arkansas then 22% of the time it goes 10+ yards

You gave up 6 yards per rush vs a shitty TCU team.

Wrong. We do have a common opponent: we played TAMU exactly one week before the Pigs did.

The Aggs are managing 6.82 yards per offensive snap this season, which is #12 in FBS. We held them to 6.2, not that great but below their season average. We also held them to just 2 offensive TDs, the second coming with under 7 minutes left in the game.

Arky allowed them an average of 10 yards per snap. And 6 offensive TDs.

So yeah, I think we have a reason to be optimistic.

I'm kind of glad they're making so many threads about the defense

Going to make it more enjoyable when they shut that shitty Auburn offense down

he's using it to point out that Arkansas' defense is giving up more big runs than the worst defense in AU history ever did

and IIRC Auburn's big weakness that year was in the back 7, and teams rightfully took advantage of that.

ole miss talked shite all week about how they were going to carve up our defense and we held them to the lowest total of points they had all year

ARkansas doesn't have a bad defense. it's not great. it's avg to okay. it struggles against 3 deiminional teams. teams that can run, pass and run with the QB. no chance. It gives up yards be generally not points to teams that can run and pass, like TCU and ole miss.

And for the first time all year, we're playing a team that is truely one deminsional. Can't pass and the qB is no run threat. It's the total opposite of the Ole miss game. You want to point out the common opponent which is pointless you're not the same team and the game plan isn't going to be the same. We had to account for Kirk, Seals Jones and Reyonlds in the secondary and had to play our safeties accordingly. And we did a damn good job accounting for them if you take out that one long pass in the 3rd quarter Knight has like 131 yards passing and is 11 for 22 or something like that.

You're the first team all year we dont' have to account for the long pass, our safties get to play up. you're not going to run the ball up and down our defense if you think so you're a plump fool. The Only way Auburn wins this game is if White goes crazy passing which isnt' going to happen.

Teams literally did whatever they wanted to us that year. It felt very much like rape. Arkansas will know that feeling soon

None of those teams rely on FG's for scoring, Auburn does.

You do realize one big play against us distorts those averages, right?
