The Arkansas DEFENSE is allowing 40 PPG vs Power 5 opponents. I mean KANSAS held TCU to 24 and Arky gave up 38 to them

TCU 38

A&M 45

Bama- 49 (2 defensive TDs by Bama)

Ole Miss 30

I thought this one was more telling

The Solid Verbal ?@SolidVerbal 22h22 hours ago The Solid Verbal Retweeted The Solid Verbal Bottom 5 in Frequency of 10+ yd runs allowed (of total rushes, min 3 gm vs P5)
• Kansas, 18.6%
• Purdue, 20%
• Hawai’i, 21.1%
• Oregon, 21.4%
• Arkansas, 22.3%

quote:

John Ringer ?@jkringer 29m29 minutes ago I want to be very clear about what that stat means - When Power 5 teams run the ball against Arkansas then 22% of the time it goes 10+ yards

John Ringer ?@jkringer 26m26 minutes ago For comparison purposes the 2012 Auburn defense allowed a rush of 10+ yards 14% of the time.

There is only about 50 ypg difference in the 2 defenses. Plus 2 of the teams ARk has played are top 20 offenses, one top 30. All of which au hasn't played yet.

Vs. Power 5 opponents the difference is about 150 yards and 22 ppg.

where did that thread that jvilletiger (???) started go? it was just getting good when it went poof in the wind.

but anyway- you must only start threads and not read the content of others because our defensive woes have been well documented here. and as much focus as you, in particular, have paid to us you should have seen it referred to by now. it's a good thing we're playing a shitty offense this week.

I'd be willing to bet that most of those runs came from mobile QB's, Hill, Knight and Kelly.

So you've allowed around twenty 20+ yard rushes to QBs?

Well, we know Alabama fans aren't paying attention to defensive stats.

What will all this mean if Auburn doesn't score 40+ or 300 yards rushing?

well, we're gonna win, so it doesn't really matter how we get there. Your defense will still suck regardless of how we choose to dismantle it
