Georgia and Texas A&M don't look like great wins at all and the best team Bama has faced all year they lost to(Ole Miss).

It is interesting how we can forget (or overemphasize) significant facts like this.

I think it is going to be a great game that will be decided in the 4th quarter.

I don't this reverse psychology attempt will work as well as it did against Georgia.

If LF outrushes Bama's team, then LSU will win by 10+ pts.

If LF is held in check (less than 125). It's a complete toss up and the team with the more productive qb wins.

Actually I think we have just as good if not a better shot of beating them at home next year. But let's make it two in a row.

Our O-line will be a bigger question next year. This year's O-line is one of the most dominant in the last decade. This is the first year the last 4-5 that I have felt really confident about LSU going up against Bama.

It's funny how the narratives change. Before the UGA game it was explained that Chubb would run over us. Their QB was playing well and we couldn't cover. Coker would not play well on the road. Hell, UGA was favored. Then we whip their tail. Chubb nor the QB could do anything. Coker was poised and played very well. Now it is explained that UGA sucked. UGA with Chubb =/= UGA without Chubb.

Then we get to aTm and people just knew that we were too fat and slow to keep up with their speed. Their QB was too good and their WRs were going to torch us. We all see how that turned out.

Bama is a good to great team. LSU is a good to great team. The team who can impose their will wins.

7 pt favorite is down and is the underdog?? LSU is up, BAMA is down. WTH. Its a game between two good programs. The team with the fewest mistakes wins as usual. Just watch and enjoy. It is a hell of a lot better than getting ready to watch BAMA vs MTSU or LSU vs EMU.

The only news in this thread is that Larry mistakenly believes he has a mind, and that it can be changed.

Bama is favored for 2 reasons: 4-year winning streak against LSU, and home field advantage. both account for -3 each.

LSU is the better team this year overall and has the better win (Florida is dominant this year).

Hell, even regardless of the LSU vs Alabama winner, I think theres a 30-40% chance Florida wins the SEC championship game with how good theyre playing.

Meanwhile Alabama lost to its only good opponent (ole miss) and has looked pedestrian on offense.

LSU wins. And if LSU doesnt win, LSU will never win, because its not very often a heisman caliber player comes through LSU.

Long-term I hope LSU also wins next year because its at tiger stadium and would help even out the last 4 year run by bama.

The OP is on to something here. But...the best team doesn't always win in this match up and I have had to learn that the hard way recently
