I love the LSU team. I used to like their fans. Then the ref conspiracies began and I can't take most of them seriously anymore.

2 outstanding football teams from top to bottom, if the National Championship game is better than this Nov. 5th game i'll be shocked. Been to Bama twice and both trips were great!!

I think Trent Richardson is the most complete runningback college football has seen since McFadden and Adrian Peterson.

As violent as a runner Ware has proven to be, Richardson is just as violent, has just as good balance, and has the breakaway speed of any of the elite backs in the country (except maybe LaMicheal James.)

I don't post that often, and I have yet to post anything negative about Bame, I think LSU and Bama have set themselves apart as THE elite of college football. I also think that Bama's offense has been more effective this year, largely in part because Saban seems to have finally been able to let the offense play in the second halves of games, instead of making them run an ultra conservative, let the defense win it, type offense at the end of games.

With all that being said, deep down I think this years version of the Bama D is a tad bit overrated, and will be tested when they face an offense that is efficient in both phases of the game. Don't get me wrong, they are LOADED with talent on that side of the ball, I just feel like they haven't been as dominate as they have in years past.

Its gonna be a GREAT game.

Alabama is not quite Haiti.

That felt good! Glad to be a part of this warm, fuzzy thread.

I like Les Miles' enthusiasm and sideline demeanor...you can make all kinds of comments about his public speaking, but you can't argue that he seems to be prepared every week, or with his results.

This is easy...I can say lots of complimentary things about LSU. But I'm not a Rantard.

There's a lot of grass in the state of Alabama.

Edit: Oh, and Alabama has a great football team.

Good idea...Miles will have his boys apply it in the locker room before suiting up. Chizik should have done the same thing.

LSU has a great coach and football team. And Louisiana, from the people to the food, is quite possiibly the most unigue and original state in the continous 48.

Bear Bryant was a good coach. I was able to watch him coach one of his last games in Tiger Stadium!
