I believe Saban will coach until he finds a worthy disciple to take over Alabama

You really think Saban wants years of dedication and hard work to go crumbling down once he leaves? It's so obvious he's going to coach until he finds a successor man enough to take over where he left off. I honestly don't know if this person is coaching yet though. Let's see how Todd Herman does. I bet Saban is watching closely.

His suggestion to replace him at LSU was Houston Nutt.

Don't get your hopes up about that.

#1 I'm not sure there is one

#2 Even if there were, trying to follow Saban at Bama is a pretty much impossible task

#3 You're killing your father.

He's already getting Dabo ready. It's why they have condos next to each other in Florida.

Yes, b/c he's EXACTLY the same person and coach now as he was at LSU. His connection to LSU was EXACTLY the same as it is at Bama, a place he's been twice as long and won 4x as much.

Dabos coaching style fits Auburn more. He better put away the ball cap and learn how to act like a man if he wants a chance, Alabama coaches don't bounce around and act like zoo animals

Didn't Dabo just get a new contract? Just curious what kind of buyout it has. Not that it really matters if the Bama job came open for him.

The buyout is like 6 million. Alabama would pay twice that just to bring him home.

Nick Saba does not give two shits who follows him at Bama or if they ever win another game after he leaves.

He has quite publiclly stated he despises a large part of the fanbase even more than the rest of the conference does.

He would more likely leave a bomb on a timer than work to ensure success after his tenure is up.
