Baylor kid doesn't have elite speed, he's a decent passer but the barn requires that speed from the qb. Teams will rush 4 and drop all into coverage. Until another nick Marshall comes along its 8-9 wins.

Pay closer attention to what made NM special. His ability to hit the deep throw and Coates ability to run by defenders made the running lanes easier to find. I doubt JS runs like NM, but he does seem like he may throw like him. Stove deep in 2017.

Lame excuse for losing to the worst UGA team in two decades. It's too bad 2 of our top 3 defenders, Natrez Patrick and Trent Thompson, weren't healthy

You are right, it had no bearing in the game. Missing the leading rusher in the SEC had none either.

I know what made NM special his speed made the defense second guess every step. He had a good enough arm, else he'd be playing qb in the league, not corner. He's an athlete and had elite speed. However, stid is an average runner and maybe a slightly above average passer. My point being, careful of all this hype before he plays. Before the JJ thing my barn buddies, few former players said JJ was not that great. Turned out to be true.

He has played and played on a collegiate level.
For me the hype is seeing what he could be compared to what I've seen on the roster when Sean White was hurt. Surely he has to be better than JF3, JJ and Tyler Queen, right?

Didn't one of those guys get kicked out of UF for stealing, then get paid $180,000 by AU and never attend classes there but played football for one year?

No, but that would make for a great fictional sports story.

Comparing to other QBs in the league, looks like his arm is as strong as Eason, but has the poise, accuracy, and mental ability that Eason lacks. He also has some good mobility

Why should you? You never take the field to play Auburn. Why would any fan fear or worry about another team?

Who the frick said Franklin was a savior? Most of our board couldn't even figure out why we signed him in the first place. Most of our board wanted Jerod Evans to be in our class, not Franklin. We had hopes that Franklin could figure out how to run the read option but he was never a savior and quarterback was a huge question mark all off-season on our board.

This is certainly true and that was nationwide. Every sports channel said the same thing, no one saw it coming that JJ wasn't going to lead a potent offense.

Dear closet Alabama Alter,

It is okay to admit you are scared and thinking about AU even as the championship approaches.

About 20% of your posts are just about Gus. No shame in using your real name m8.

Just fess up and it will sooth your soul.

No shite. That's why we signed another JUCO QB. No need to develop.
Can't slip anything past you...
