Anything Carrera does on the court should be a technical foul

I have no problem with it at all. It's trying for possession- you hustle and do what needs to be done.

I remember that play. Bill Raftery said "Well, you have to use your head in this game!" followed by a classic Verne Lundquist chortle.

Such a chicken shite "strategy". It would be a technical foul anywhere else on the court but for some reason on the baseline it's not. If you can't stay in bounds on the baseline, tough shite.

this is fkn stupid and shows you never played the game. It's a SMART move to get your team the ball when you otherwise wouldn't. and NO its tough shite for you pussies that want to change the rules everytime something doesn't go your way kind of like the Democraps

You know how long basketball has been around?

That's how long players have been doing this.

Henry Jones Jr -- I have to agree with you on this. Reminds me of a player on a punt return team that the football bounces off his body and the ball is now considered a live ball and can be recovered by the punt team as a fumble recovery. I just think that is plain stupid

If the defender catches it, it becomes a turnover. Get your hands ready.

exactly duh. next the ole piss fans will want to change the rules where no fouls can be called in the last five minutes of the game. that's how they roll.

So is it a bs strategy to pass to a teammate out of bounds when breaking the press?

I actually had this happen to me during a high school game in 1989. Dude smacked me right in the face. Good hustle play by him. We slapped hands and kept playing. All just part of the game.

Get over it ... it's an age-old rite of basketball. Football has contact every play. Baseball has beaning batters and charging the mound and running into the catcher at home plate. Basketball has beaning someone in the nugget under the guise of saving a possession under the basket.

Oh, and guess what I'm enjoying today ...
