- both are Mississippi natives

- both spent time at Southern Miss (Collins as the former coach, Freeze as a former student)

Both are not at all subtle in their cheating styles.

Both continue to cheat even after being caught.

I think Skip Bayless, of all fricking people, summed it up well. Collins before he got to SMU thought the train was probably going 50 mph. But when he got there it was going 150 mph. He just said "screw it. Just don't get caught"

ole miss was probably at about 80mph in a school zone, not gonna get death penalty but it will be pretty bad (multiple year bowl ban, 20+ scholarships, maybe a show cause or 2). Too blatant, too sudden, too much outside the accepted norms of everyday cheating that goes on in the SEC, just exactly the kind of insignificant school in a power conference that will make a good example, too much lying to the public about the investigation, etc..

Coach O got it started, Nutt kept that going then if everything turns out to be true, Freeze picked up where Coach O left off.

What does that say about Freeze's intelligence if O and Nutt were able to do it and not get caught? We aren't talking about a couple of brain surgeons.

Both were hired, somewhat, because of their lack of sophistication and naivete.
