We in good shape at Bama. I have been trying to get lower bowl for about 15 years (had seson tx since 88) and the nice lady at the ticket office seriously told me that it's possible I could get lower bowl around 2025 or so but more than likely wouldn't happen in my lifetime with all the alums, Ivory club members who actually will their tix down to the next generation and I dont have 10K PER SEAT to spend.

82 singles left unsold.
7K to visitors (I believe)
~35k student passes purchased (maybe more if they sell partials again)
~60K season tickets

I think you're pretty close. They are selling some four game packages for students, but the total number of seats set aside for students (not counting tickets returned by visitors, of which there will be zero for the big SEC games) is around 31k or 32k. The total student passes sold will exceed that because of the split packages.

As to the where those other 2 or 3 thousand seats went, that's what they call "special handling"--tickets for recruits, high school coaches, legislators, and other giveaways.

I don't understand the appeal of buying season tickets. I have never not gotten into Tiger Stadium buying tickets day of. Sometimes it ends up being expensive but when you balance it out with $10 tickets you can easily pick up for the rent a win games (if you're patient) and maybe $20-25 for a Mississippi State or an Arkansas, it more than comes out in the wash. I only end up paying >$100 a ticket maybe once a year.

During the Ole Miss debacle in 1999 my friends and I ran up and down the aisles on the east sideline yelling "stop the construction! stop the construction1"

I can sit in the same seat every game/year.

I know the people that sit next to me.

My seats are good and I dont get stuck in random places

I dont have to worry about finding tickets on gameday

just to name several of the reasons

All these reasons. Plus, The people around me are all in a email group. We share tickets when we dont go to the game. I pretty much have extra tickets to every game if I need them

Your tickets arent any where near 1k, so not sure how you would save that much. If you are referring to the donation, well I just use that as a tax deduction.

Oh please, I'd bet large that I have a longer and deeper connection to LSU than you've had, have, or will have. I've been active in both TAF and LSU Foundation for years now. I've been very generous with my time and my money over the years, and I plan to continue that.

Remember when constuction workers watched games from the cranes. Then taf had a fit.

So the workers put dummies on the cranes "so dummies could watch a dummy team" (i think we were 2-5 at the time. I escalated my drinking that year so my memory is hazy). Yeah dinardo (tepper) finished 2-8.

Hey what ever happened to hal hunter? Best record in lsu history

Dont get your panties in a wad. But 2005 versus 2000 is more than a little goof. Saban era versus miles.

And dont bring your elitist military shite in here either.

And nice subtle brag about being rich

You told me I goofed, I told you why. I didn't keep up with what was going back here, because I was in a bad place in my life.

And you don't have to be rich to actively support your school.
