Auburn lost 3 of those games this year and was lucky to beat LSU. Their defensive line is not going to close to as good and I doubt the rushing game will be as good. 8-4 would be a good season for Gus
LOL at lucky to beat LSU. And LOL at thinking your know shite about how Auburn is going to play next year. You thought LSU was a good team this year and that LF was going to win the Heisman

QB has been an issue, but play calling, game planning and lack of innovation have been bigger issues for the Auburn offense.

Stidham does nothing to address those issues unless briles joins him.

Less experienced than the multi year starters yall have now that could've been 1st round picks last year. I'll take 1st year starting 5*s over another year of tim Williams and Jonathan Allen, thank you very much

Exactly Pearl Jam. Gus has failed to adjust or evolve his offense. The same stuff that worked back in 2010 and 2013 won't cut it today. He hasn't been innovative with his schemes and can't adjust when his scripted plays aren't productive. He is predictable, consistently running the ball on 1st down more than 50% of the time. His playbook is elementary. Rather than change his play calling during a game when they aren't productive, he changes the freaking personnel and still runs the exact same plays.

Gus is in over his head, and he is apparently too stubborn to allow his OC to run the offense. These same discussions were going on at the end of last season, this is nothing but a regurgitation of the same stuff.

I agree with this though.

Well, that's not true. Peaks and valleys yes, but an 8 win ceiling has been proven false many times
You're right, it's not your ceiling, but with a .629 winning percentage and using a 13 game schedule (even lousy bowls count) 8-5 is your average.

You're looking pretty average this year.

Isn't Stidham a pocket passer? Sean White does a damn good job when he's healthy. I don't see a whole lot of difference there. Unless he can run and nobody knew it. Gus needs a dual threat to run his offense. Stidham as backup QB?

Ok , never watched him that much, I thought he was more of a pocket passer.

Edit
ESPN just called him a pocket passer, but can run if he has to.

We win 10+ games and are top 10 minimum right now with a healthy SW. What makes you think we need a DT? We need the same thing at QB everybody else needs, a gamer who makes good decisions. We also need somebody healthy, and SW is a bit fragile. Statistically JS is like a SW clone, only taller, more durable, and possibly faster. This is great because whoever is starter, if they go down we can actually have a competent and experienced backup to come in and lead the team.

*side note for discussion purposes* White actually had better rushing numbers this year than stidham did at Baylor

I fail to see why it's an outlandish prediction to say Auburn will lose to Clemson, LSU, Alabama, and UGA next year.

Playing at Clemson is not an easy task and Dabo recruits as well as anyone. They haven't had much issues replacing QB's either. They'll also return most of their o-line, two receivers that have over 500 yards this year, and most of their defense.

Auburn hasn't won at LSU since 1999. I highly doubt any of you seriously believe that's an automatic win.

Since Gus has been hired, he is 4-8 vs UGA, LSU, and Alabama. Two of those wins being improbable finishes in 2013.
