How many starters does Miss. St. return? A list of them would be great.

Second three games decides whether this will be a dream season or another 7-5 type season and a fifth straight bowl.

at LSU
Texas A&M
Auburn

0-3? Possible, but A&M is beatable at Starkville. Auburn needed a last second touchdown to beat us in Auburn last year. To me, that's the game circled on the calendar.

I don't think I will ever see State beat LSU, especially in Tiger Stadium, where maroon and white dreams go to die.

We won't beat Alabama, but the other eight games on the schedule are definitely winnable - probably will be favored in all except at Ole Miss, and that's a crapshoot. Kevin Fant beat Eli Manning one time. One thing Mullen does well is win games that he's favored in. Only one loss as a favorite in five years. Only one win as an underdog as well. Its pretty straight forward what you get with MSU.

40 on the the 2 deep return. 16 starters. Definitely reason for optimism.

MSU & UK return the most starters in the SEC this year, 16 each.

Auburn returns all but Chris Davis, Dee Ford, Greg Robinson, Tre Mason, and Jay Prosch. Jake Holland doesn't count, and even if he did, that would put Auburn at returning 17 starters. And if we want to really grasp for straws, let's throw in Nosa Eguae...that's still 16.

Returning 40 2* and 3* star players should yield 8 mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyybe 9 wins for MSU. Great time to be an MSU fan for sure!

Yep. I just hope we don't Stansbury Mullen for not pulling off the big win.

Most likely looking at a fifth straight bowl game for a team that had 14 in over 100 years prior. Our stadium will finally look like it isn't a Texas 6A high school stadium when it re-opens in August. Good times in Stark Vegas.

I went last year to the Miss St./Alabama game. It is already loud in there with the cowbells. I can't imagine how much louder it will be with the extra seating.

2013 will be Malzahn's best season at AU.
Perfect lightning last year, like when Bama sprang the Wishbone Offense on the SEC in 1971. Teams will be prepared this year. AU had a lot of luck and karma last year, 9 wins MAX for them this year.

Yes. Are you Asian, or do you not know how to spell fan?
