Most everyone remembers the laptop. They don't remember he was about to be booted from the school for academic fraud. He left before the hearing. I remember people questioning Auburn for having him when they just went through an academic suspension issue at the time. I forgot what it was, but it was a scandal then.

NYC AUBURN:

There are numerous contentions for this point that are easily found. Auburn fans are just in denial. Auburn and CAM are great partners. No integrity. You hire coaches with no integrity, also.

Below is a good survey of Cam's lack of integrity.

NYCAuburn, the academic fraud baggage is a well known fact. This came up just last wk on one of the college football talk shows...not Finebaum....and 2 of the 3 hosts repeated the same story. Bottom line, he did leave just ahead of getting the boot. And Brantley was a 5 star recruit with off the charts high school stats.

NYC Auburn:

You can stick your head in the sand all you want. The joke is on you and every Auburn ditto head out there.

Note the bottom doesn't mention Thayer:

"Information from ESPN.com college football reporters Pat Forde, Mark Schlabach and Chris Low and The Associated Press was used in this report."

Did you read the first paragraph?

quote:

Auburn quarterback Cam Newton was facing possible expulsion from the University of Florida for academic cheating when he transferred to junior college in the spring of 2009, FoxSports.com reported Monday.
quote:

According to FoxSports.com, Newton again violated the university's honor code by putting his name on another student's paper and turning it in. Newton was caught after the instructor asked the real author of the paper why he had not turned in his work.
quote:

Newton turned in a second paper to the instructor, but that paper was later found to have been purchased off the Internet, according to FoxSports.com.
You know who they were siting, right?

Thayer Evans was somehow cited as a source for so many false things I am surprised he still has a job. ESPN and everyone took his articles as the gospel

you might want to learn to read past the first paragraph. Oh, and you might want to put that Auburn degree to use and learn how to spell citing. I guess you didn't have to color that word while you were there.
Or, were you there?

You spelled it with an s and then corrected it. You apparently fit in with Auburn and have no integrity. Not surprised.

Now, go back to your coloring.

Just like Auburn did actually pay for Cam and got away with it....but the FEDS could find no proof of this. The FEDS.
