LSU's board is tired of the Bama bias from the SEC. I don't think we'll leave the SEC , but excluding that one big LSU and BAMA football game we aren't rivals in any other sport. Until Saban came South in 2000 we were never rivals LSU would win once every ten years.
BTW if LSU left the conference we'd probably still meet up occasionally in the football playoffs.

It is La. The governor has decided to close LSU and cancel football. Les Miles will be named the new head coach at ULM and Southern will be dominant football power in the state. (sarcasm)

We all know LSU is gonna play next year. The SEC, ESPN, etc etc has no say in politics. If the governor wants to shutdown LSU athletics, ain't anything they can do. Governor isn't going to do that anyway. He would be signing his own death certificate.
