Why plant trees, just put steel poles up and run wires to the poles. Has that been done before?

As I understand it, the amount of money saved will be able to upgrade recruits to a Durango from a Charger if they so desire.

I think we should set up a go fund me page. If all of the Aubs who pretend to give a shite about UAB football donated maybe the program would stay afloat.
As it is, there are better things to spend taxpayer dollars on in Alabama. Imagine if we gave 17 million dollars to the inner city schools in Birmingham or Montgomery. Or spent that money improving the aging infrastructure in BHam. Lots of other things to spend that money on than a failing football program that will never come close to being profitable.

Obviously Bama should spend it on counseling for all of the Ranters distraught at the tragic death of UAB's storied football program. It's the noble thing to do.

No. They didn't. The program went several years without a conference. The interim president announced that the next season would be the last because they could no longer sustain the losses as an independent. The BOT hired a permanent president a couple of weeks later, and said, no, I think we can find a conference and keep this thing going.
