Indefensible? Really? Running the ball to run clock?? Saban or any other decent coach would never do such a thing clearly. And if they did, it would work everytime, clearly.

And we didn't even lose points on that because our D stopped them 3 and out. So it had zero. impact on the game.
And nevermind that LSU and Miles prepared a game plan that made us "clearly the better team", your words, as a two score underdog to the undefeated eventual national champion???

Great OP. Trick the opposing fans into saying Les is a good coach or admitting they are scared of post-Les LSU. Win-win.

We kicked when we should have faked and faked when we should have kicked.
Didn't go for it on 4th down at the end of the game when even a made FG only puts us up six.
That's 3 just off the top of my head and I know there were a few more in there but I haven't seen that game since the day it happened and never will again.

Oh, so you're one of the we should have gone for it on 4th even though we were only up by a FG and we could have gone up 6 and our D hadn't given up a first down all half guys???

I said it at the time, not hindsight.
In fairness, Saban did the same thing in the 2002 Arkansas game which was just as bad a decision.

Don't forget the 4th &1 from the wildcat that got stuffed when handoffs had been gaining good yardage the entire drive.

It's probably too much to ask you to be honest, but if Les had gone for it, not made it, and Bama kicks a FG and we lose in OT, would you defend him and say Les did the right thing?

JMO but miles' bad decisions (and he is good for at least one or two a game) trump the good ones he makes. almost like everyone is expecting him to frick up at least once terribly bad a game.
