Jones can't win a Super Bowl without hiring a coach that spent some time in Oklahoma...

Gundy or Stoops is the only answer.

Jason Garrett is not the answer and Jones wants another championship before he dies.

Saban is not dumb. He is king of the college football world and he's already failed at the NFL. Money hungry he is, but dumb he is not.

A lot of college coaches dont want any part of the NFL....the demand is huge and much tougher than college...even with recruiting there are some off weeks. Ask Gruden what he used to do when he started out....staying over in offices every night and watching film til your eyes give out. It will chew you up and spit you out.
College football is a lot more fun..alumni and AD are apt to appreciate you a lot more than some shithead worth ten billion dollars who sees everything in $$$ signs.

Jones has no interest in Saban. Saban wants total control and Jones is too arrogant not to muddle in all the little details of the organization. It would never work.

Why does this question still pop up five years later? If you people had half a brain, you could think of some better threats than Saban to the Cowboys.

He should hire Sean Peyton. Pretty obvious he is the brains behind the Saints success.

Saban will never, ever, ever go to the Cowboys. Never. Saban is about absolute power. He loves being in total control. He could never have it at Dallas. Jerry Jones is an Al Davis clone. He can't get out of his own way. Saban won't put up with that crap.

Yeah. The first time Saban told Jones to get his arse off his sideline and back up to the owner's box, there might be a problem.

It's common knowledge that if/when Bama wins it again this year that Saban will go into broadcasting.

I know the LSU fans would love to see Saban leave Alabama so you could say..."I told you so" but he is not going anywhere else to coach because he loves the college game and it fits him and his family well.
BTW: He is not the money driven guy some people thinks he is so Jones money will not make him think of leaving, beside jerry runs his team and how do you think Saban could deal with that?

Jones will not offer Saban the job, but don't kid yourself, if he did he would be gone. Dallas isn't Miami, and Saban's ego would push him to do it because he was a failure at Miami and in order to be called the Greatest coach he would have to remedy this

Saban will never ever leave Alabama. The endowments at Alabama are HUGE. He can get anything he needs to make the program NFL caliber plus he was complete and total control.....................and Terry likes college life.
