Y'all realize you could be reading one of the Great Works of Literature right now. Instead, you're on a message board devoted to football fans, making fun of people for being football fans. Go get a pair of rubber-handled pliers and some electrician's tape. That short circuit isn't going to fix itself.

Sorry, random ways; but I jerked off to Watership Down last night.

One of his biggest worshipers is Finebaum & he actually bragged that when he "was given a tour of Coach's house, Ms. Terry let me peek into his closet". Does not get much worse than that.

Wow. You're a man's man. I saw it when I was about 8 or 9 and I'm still traumatized by that final fight after all this time. Respect.

(The book, which I read years later, had some grim imagery, but it certainly didn't burn itself into my brain like that bloody shot of General Woundwort.)

He was a great college coach and he's a great coach in the NFL. What did Saban do in the NFL besides tuck tail and run because he couldn't cut it?

He left because he didn't like it. 15-17 is hardly a complete failure. You do realize Pete was fired in the NFL before finding success with the Seahawks?

What has your coach done?

The coach has very little impact in the NFL these days. Doesn't assemble the team, the practices are a joke, and the players aren't motivated by anything but the next paycheck. Part of why that league is so watered down and dull compared to college. All that said, Saban did as well or better with the Dolphins as any coach of that franchise has done in the past couple decades.
