I think Beilema would do really well at LSU.

He was excellent at OSU.
I can verify that he scared the ever living shite out of OU.
He went 2-2 vs OU, which is admittedly very good historically speaking. But "excellent"? Naw. He was 16-16 in conference, and 28-21 overall in his four years. Never ended the season ranked. Had a 1-2 bowl record.
He had better production than his predecessor, but his successor (Mike Gundy) has been even better.

If you want to tolerate horrible QB play and perpetual lack of passing game just to win an occasional title, then he's your guy.

Can he bring his drug policy and team voting with him?

No, I'm good. I might hire him as a rb coach

Not many people realize this, but this is a true statement. His offense can work, but it requires near flawless execution, a QB who is a threat to pass the ball, an unforgiving, relentless defense, and excellent special teams. When all the elements of that formula do not exist the product looks like Rosie O'Donnell (2016). When they do the product looks Natalie Portman (2011).

You would never know it, but until we paroled Chavis you would never know Sumlin actually played defense in college.
I wonder what it is about some coaches that REPEATEDLY fail on one side of the ball, no matter how many coordinators they bring in. Seems like, at some point, you just have to admit that you need a guru to run that part of the team and you stay out of his way.
