Joker Phillips recruiting Calvin Ridley during a dead period and subsequently losing his job.

I don't expect anything to come of the stuff swirling around Ole Miss.

I don't either but that shouldn't be the focus of the discussion.

The last five years something like this happens once or twice and nothing ever pans out from it…

What has panned over the last five years is players losing their eligibility from dealing with & accepting benefits from agents. Ole Miss looks to be in the clear but Tunsil's future eligibility isn't.

The NCAA will only lay the law down on Ole Miss if there is an orchestrated effort to cover something up. Otherwise, at worst, Tunsil gets a suspension.

Oklahoma state had a huge write-up in Yahoo that literally went no where.

A lot of that was past the time the NCAA could do anything about it.

They brought in the FBI, audited every possible lead, and set up shop on campus for a year. With such a passive investigation it's clear they pussied out and didn't even try

Funny how they don't seem to have trouble finding stuff on other schools they investigate.

Yeah because it is so hard to believe that when given a choice between Auburn and possibly the worst SEC football program of all time Cam or any other player would decide to go to Auburn

If you're asking me to believe that he turned down $180,000 from State to play for Auburn without any cash under the table, then yeah, I find that hard to believe.

The agents drove Tunsil to the Sonic on University Drive where he devoured 3 foot long coney's with cheese and extra onions, an order of onion rings and another of French fries, and 2 medium dancers from Danny's in Memphis (one chocolate and one vanilla).

He belched something terrible and we in Madison thought we were in yet another earthquake.

WHOA WAIT A SECOND, I don't want to reopen this conversation again, but do you honestly believe that Cam Newton choose Auburn over MSU + $180K simply because of your program's prestige?

Freeze is so slimy. He always says too much as well.

He was so quick with the come at me bro's about the 2013 class, and jumped the gun on his tunsil defending his momma bs too...

The only coach that gives me the creeps anywhere close to freeze is Gus and his fake accent. That dude turns it off and on like a light switch b

The fact that you are dumb enough to talk about Cam Newton is more proof of what a retard you are. Arian Foster has admitted on multiple occasions that he was paid to play at your hillbilly school. Let me know when Cam Newton makes a similar admission. I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen

I'm asking that you actually read up on the details of the situation before responding in a thread about it.

There have been many, many different spins that I have read or heard, but turning down $180,000 was never one of them.

A retard who talks about Cam turning down $180,000 is too fricking stupid to take seriously anyway. Moo State has always denied they offered Cam one penny. Only a clueless moron like you would bring up him turning down $180,000.
