Same offensive line? Did I miss something. Was Isaiah Wilson not playing or Andrew Thomas

He said that it wasnt the same tennessee team as 2019.

I replied that it was almost the same offensive line.
4 players plus cade Mays for 2020.

but they are playing a lot better than last year as a group.

You are basing this on South Carolina and missouri versus playing Florida, bama, and UGA in 2019?

they are getting it done little by little.

That's what I'm hoping for.
I dont see them scoring more than 14 points and it will take a busted coverage to get that. Chaney is going to throw out a lot of deep double moves.

He was talking about your offensive line is the same except for Cade Mays. Then he said we have basically the same Defensive line as we had last year.

If you watched those games you can see a much improved Tennessee team and I just got a hunch it will be a lot closer than you think. Your team got beaten by South Carolina last year. This year will be the year UGA will be either go to the playoff or be a bust.

We expect them to be better. They should be better. They have two 5* tackles that were true freshmen last year. If they are not better then something is bad wrong.

But Tennessee isn't the only team that improves. Our DLine was undergraduates last year, too. Don't misunderstand me. I fully expect a tough game out there Saturday. Tennessee always seemed to give us tough games even when Butch Jones was there and Pruitt is in a different world compared to Jones.

For me the difference will be our offense compared to their defense. I think the UT DLine will be better than Auburn's but Auburn's LBs and secondary is better than Tennessee's. This is where we will see if Stetson Bennett is for real or not. I fully expect Tennessee to force Bennett to beat them.

So you're saying UGA will still prevent 0 rushing touchdowns. I disagree. I seeing Pruitt is a good HC and is getting his team in the right direction. Your team failed to win a championship with all those 4 and 5 stars players. Maybe this year will be the year UGA gets it. I doubt it.

I hope to just get a first down as our boys are weak and frail. Our goal is to keep the TV cameras on the game and not have CBS switch to I Love Lucy reruns.

VOLS fans are extra annoying this year. I literally cannot wait to beat the shite out of them and show them just how far off they are from being elite.

I watched the 2nd quarter versus South Carolina. The OL was getting a good push on their runs. I read after the game that they have struggles in pass protection. I'm not saying that they arent good. I'm saying that we have a scheme and talent that matches up well.

That should be a conversation about UGAs offense. We had 4 turnovers against Scar on 2019. 1 of those was a pick 6. Our defense gave up 10 points in. Regulation and a field goal in overtime.
That could happen against Tennessee (our offense turning the ball over). It doesnt mean that they run the ball into the endzone.

Lol

We were a top 10 recruiting team under Richt. That was usually #5 or #6 in the conference. People knock us for not winning a national championship with all of those 4 and 5 stars when there were consistently 4 other teams in the conference with more talent.

Kirby changed that in 2017 with a #3 class and 2018 with a #1 class.
Guess what.
Those classes are now finally upperclassmen (and we have another #3 class and another #1 class behind them as underclassmen).

Kirby has not had more talent at UGA before. LSU won the national championship with a #2 recruiting class in 2016. Sometimes it takes those kids to becoming upperclassmen before they leave their impact on the field.

Last year Odom lost to the VOLS! That is how telling Odom was going backwards! He got fired and I was glad since he couldn't get 4* or 5* OLs. Also the recruiting class was still in the 30-40 range. That is not good after 4 years!
