Tusca Looser, read my sig, a quote from SI.

That said, I'm picking Gumps by 12 points this fall. We won't have a SEC caliber QB at that time.

I'm responding to the guy saying Bama dominated the game last year.

So you just like broadcasting your butthurt over a call that didn't even effect the outcome of the game in your Sig because?

I wasn't specifically talking about you. You aren't the only poster thinking last years game will give any indication of how this year will go.

What people don't realize is that Kenyan Drake was leading Alabama in Tds coming into the Ole Miss game not Cooper. When Drake went down then Ryan kelly bama couldn't run the ball. Sims struggled on the Rd with no drake after he put up 600 plus yards on UF with drake, against a UF defense that honestly had better players than Ole Miss.

Sigh...

I guess I'll go stat by stat for the landmass educated group of people in this thread... Already posted a link to them, but whatever. I'll leave the passing game off this list, since it's already been addressed, although Blake Sims had a higher completion percentage and Ole Miss only threw for a whopping 23 more yards.

First Downs
Alabama 20
Ole Miss 16

Total Offense
Alabama 396
Ole Miss 327

Total Plays
Alabama 75
Ole Miss 63

Yards per play
Alabama 5.3
Ole Miss 5.2

Rushing Yards
Alabama 168
Ole Miss 76

Yards per Rush
Alabama 3.8
Ole Miss 2.4

Sacks given up
Alabama 1
Ole Miss 2

Time of Possession
Alabama 33:21
Ole Miss 26:39

Punts
Alabama 6
Ole Miss 6

Punts Avg
Alabama 51.83
Ole Miss 46.33

And we managed that with the guy our offense had been built around at that point being out of the game with a broken leg.

Anything else?

You left out 2 really important stats... TOs and Points off TOs.

Ole Miss outgained Arkansas on offense in a game we lost 30-0.

I addressed turnovers in my earlier post and pointed out their fatality.

Where is the domination? You said Alabama dominated that game. They had 70 more total yards. Like I said in my post, the only phase in which Alabama outplayed Ole Miss was when Yeldon ran the ball.

Ole Miss outscored Bama 20-3 in the 2nd half. That's domination.

In the fact that Bama outplayed Ole Miss in almost every facet imaginable?

Are you trolling me right now?

And yet you only scored 10 offensive points to go along with a phantom face mask call by "YOUR" ref

And only 14 the following week at Arkansas. Thankfully that was enough to win in Fayetteville. The offense was night and day away from BDS. Never seen anything quite like that.

Lol. There was no evidence that your secondary had ever seen a forward pass from the way they played in the second half.

But for the phantom face mask and a sure TD dropped by Engram, Bama would have lost by 3 TDs.

TCU made 42 look easy before they let off the gas

Bama's front 7 on D is one of the deepest in the country..

No, it's the deepest in the country. We have a sophomore, former number 1 overall recruit on the third unit defensive line. It's a little silly the depth we've stockpiled in the front 7, I've never seen anything like it.

Ryan Kelly went down in the second half of the OM game and did not play against the hogs. The loss of Kelly was arguably as significant as losing Drake and Bama's offense returned when Kelly returned.
