It is going to be a long year for the A&M fanbase. Unless there is another Heisman quality qb on the roster to make up for the losses on the line and wr as well as the putrid D, 7 wins will be the ceiling. And by the way they will lose to both MS schools this year.

No it won't.
Don't manufacture drama where it doesn't exist.
Our expectations are very realistic.
And most of us can see the big picture--big things are happening now, to lay solid groundwork for the future.
A season of rebuilding doesn't rattle us; we simply raise our glasses, enjoy game day festivities with family, friends. & visitors, and give thanks for all we have.

Most Aggie fans think they're going to win at least 9 games this year, which is not realistic.

You are incorrect.
Don't make one person's troll thread the collective mindset of all.
(though I know it makes for good Internet fodder)

Ole Miss is no better than Mizzu or MSU this year.

Neither is TAMU, lol! hell, aggie had the best player in college football for the past 2 years, and and still lost what, 7 or 8 games over that span? not to mention beating a rebuilding ole miss on the last play of the game, twice. well, rebels aint rebuilding anymore, they are BUILT. and aggie doesn't have JFF anymore...38-17 Rebels in a game that wont be as close as the score indicates.

The front page alone has several 9 win predictions and your 8 win with a toss up with LSU. What have i made up?

Ok.
You win.
A few Aggies may have made that prediction.
Many others have predicted differently.

Most aggy fans are predicting 8-9 wins, that's not really debatable. I don't think I've seen any A&M fans predict fewer than 8 wins.

It most certainly is debatable.
Regardless, 8 wins is different than 9.
Many have predicted 7-9.
This isn't worth arguing.
The M.O. is evident.

They lose at least four games but five to six wouldn't be shocking. They will of course be in the bottom half of the west.

Where they belong.

Ole Miss kept it close (a field goal) each of the past 2 years with Johnny, we will dominate without him and his weapons. (Mike Evans, Jake Mathews)

A&M could easily lose to one, if not both, MSU and OM.

And the next time that happens, will be the first. I'll stick with history on this particular instance.
