According to ESPN, since 2007, this game has featured 100 NFL draft picks, 25 of which were 1st rounders. That means in any given matchup, there were an average of 9-10 first rounders roaming both sidelines, and an average of 36-40 NFL draft picks total. Those are incredible numbers.

As for this year's teams, what players do you believe we be 1st round picks when they eventually come out for the draft?

The following players are ranked inside the Top 40 prospects for 2016 according to CBS Sports, so it isn't a stretch to consider them 1st round prospects. In your opinion, what other players have 1st round potential, provided a few of them come back for their senior year?

LSU:

2016 - Tre'Davious White - CB
2016 - Vadal Alexander - OG
2016 - Jerald Hawkins - OT - According to WalterFootball mock on 10/28

Potential:

Ethan Pocic - C
Arden Key - DE
Lewis Neal - DE
Kendall Beckwith - MLB
Toby Weatherby - OT
Maea Teuhema - OG
Leonard Fournette - RB
Malachi Dupre - WR
Kevin Toliver II - CB
Jamal Adams - SS

Alabama:

2016 - Reggie Ragland - ILB
2016 - A'Shawn Robinson - DT
2016 - Jarran Reed - DT
2016 - Derrick Henry - RB

Potential:

Reuben Foster - ILB
Calvin Ridley - WR
Cam Robinson - OT
Minkah Fitzpatrick - CB
Marlon Humphrey - CB
Jon Allen - DE
Eddie Jackson - SS
Ronnie Harrison - SS

Anyone I'm missing, or anyone I included that is preposterous? I'm not considering players that have yet to play considerable time this year.

Shocking how many NFL players have been involved in this game over the last few years. The best of the best!

Solid list, but Trent Richardson ruined any chance of Derrick Henry going in the 1st round.

Yeldon, Ingram, Lacy might be a redeeming factor, no?

I don't think either of these teams are anywhere near the talent level of the 2011 squads.

This game brings it every year with NFL talent on both sides. Game has talent similar to those old FSU/Miami games for 20 years

Probably true, but Pocic should/could be the #1 center in his class, and some of these OGs are young and may move to OT as they progress. I just put their current positions.

Henry won't be taken in the 1st round. He just doesn't fit the mold. Sometimes I think he missed his true calling at LB

Oh, I agree as far as the 22 starters are concerned, but the 85 man roster is just as talented as it has ever been, especially at LSU. I wouldn't know enough about Alabama's depth to say one way or the other.

There usually is at least one of each taken in every draft. Not too 10 but they're taken.

I'd add Jon Allen, Eddie Jackson, and Ronnie Harrison. I would not have Henry on the list, I'd be legit shocked if he went round 1.

Henry and Fournette at LB would be absolutely insane. Could give Ragland a run for his money.

WalterFootball has Henry going 36th, but you never know towards the back end of the 1st round.

I'll add them, but Allen and Jackson are likely gone this year, right?

Allen is likely, and a potential first rounder. Jackson hasn't started getting the first round hype just yet, but if he keeps playing at the level he has played at so far this year it'll come.

Definitely the GOAT squads of this era for both programs.

Gotta say, I don't see Henry as a first rounder. He's a steam engine of a man and I wouldn't want to get in his way, but barring some changes to his running style, he looks to be taken around the third round or so because he doesn't look to me like the sort of agile, fast-off-the-starting-block back that would tempt a team to take a chance on him with a valuable first round draft pick.
